Venetian Villas Day 2025: On the weekend of 18 and 19 October, more than one hundred Venetian Villas across Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia will open their doors for the fourth edition of the Giornata delle Ville Venete. The event invites visitors to enjoy authentic experiences inside magnificent residences that preserve the history and heritage of the Serenissima Republic of Venice.
Promoted by the Associazione per le Ville Venete APS in collaboration with IRVV – Istituto Regionale Ville Venete and under the patronage of the Ministero della Cultura, ENIT, Regione Veneto and Rai Veneto, the initiative has become a best practice in sustainable and experiential tourism.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can take part in guided tours of historical gardens, admire the autumn foliage, meet villa owners, enjoy theatre performances, yoga sessions, wine tastings, masterclasses, historical reenactments and much more. Each villa offers a unique experience, allowing visitors to select one that aligns with their interests and preferred themes.
Over the past three years, the Giornata delle Ville Venete has welcomed more than 50,000 visitors, becoming a highlight on the cultural calendar of the region. The event promotes a more conscious and sustainable way of travel, enhancing the cultural heritage of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia in the spirit of undertourism.
